Your Ad Stream: How Accurate is Facebook’s Ad System?

This page compiles all the ads that were collected from your Facebook stream during the data collection period. We’re interested in learning your responses to the ads: do you think they’re appropriate to your interests? How well do you think Facebook “knows” you? Do you have any concerns about the ads and how they’re targeted? And any other response you might have to particular ads or groups of ads.

Each ad has a text box beneath it that allows you to write a brief comment in response to the ad. We’re asking you to go through these ads, and if you have a response to enter it below the relevant ad. The response can be any reaction you have to the ad: whether you’re surprised to see it, what you think it reveals about how well -- or not -- Facebook’s system works, whether you’d rather not have ads like the one you’re commenting on, and so on. If there are lots of ads, just comments on the ones that you have a response to -- no need to comment on all of them. We’re just trying to get an impression of your response to seeing all the ads you’ve been served collected together.

To see your ads, please enter your user code in the box below and click enter. If you have forgotten your code, you can view it by clicking on the blue Monash icon in the upper right-hand corner of your browser. Thanks for your time!
